How you can help

Talk to the members of your family and impress on them the importance of giving just £1.00 to cancer research. It might be easier if one family member collects the money and arranges the donation.

Spread the word : email and text everyone in your address books about 1c2c. Lets get a positive virus going.

If you are in business, spread the word to the employees, we will accept donations both large and small, but really would like every family member to donate £1. Spread the word to the business community in your area.

If a business would like to support us financially, that would be wonderful and we’ll add a message to the motor home. Any unused monies would go to the fund. If you want to give a donation then that’s wonderful as well and we can still advertise by means of a message.

Help along the route is always welcome! Somewhere to park a mobile home, electric hook-up, washing of running kits! Or just give us support if you see us on the road! If you want to offer help, leave a message and contact number in an email.

If you work in the media industry, any publicity you can give would be tremendous.

How the NHS can help

As both of us have worked in the NHS all our lives we know how generous and supportive staff always are, whatever they do. So we hope that the NHS will get behind our aims and spread the word also spread the website ; talk with your family and collect £1 off all of them and donate!

GP’s have a key role in helping us, in supporting one of their own. Please put notices up in your surgery to publicise the event.

Pathology staff can help out by putting notices in Reception and Phlebotomy areas to publicise the event.

Specialist Cancer Units we would also appeal to on the same basis – let everyone know what we are doing.

Publicity is always welcome; if you have contact with the media, let them know about us and what we hope to achieve.
If you have any celebrity patients have a word with them and ask them to support us too.
