IN MEMORY OF JOAN – a dear sister and sister-in-law who died of ovarian cancer Jan 2005.

Our appeal is 1c2c – one Coin towards Curing Cancer. If everyone (young and old) donated £1.00 then a mammoth £60,000,000 would be raised for curing cancer.

As life spans increase with improving medical treatments, 1 in 4 of us is going to die of cancer, whilst 1 in 3 of us will have a cancer illness.

This means that someone, somewhere in nearly every family, will have a sufferer.

So all of us need to contribute to finding a cure for cancer, which means more research.

In particular this means research into how cancer starts in the first place. Only then can we design treatments to stop it or treat it.
